The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) is a £860m financial incentive programme from the UK Government to encourage the uptake of renewable heating.  The tariff-based mechanism means any renewable heat that is generated can not only save on fossil fuel bills, but can also be eligible for a quarterly RHI payment administered by Ofgem.
